PAUL FARRELL
Paul’s an old mate from the days when he lived in a big rambling house in Hackney with Charlie Higsons girlfriend. He now lives right next to proper countryside in Bristol and is the busiest illustrator alive. His subjects range from the Lesser Spotted Woodpecker to the Mountain Ash, and back around to the much maligned pigeon. The work draws on strong graphic shapes that the natural world throws up with more than a leaning towards the flying type stuff. He’s produced classic, limited edition screen prints, gift cards as well as cheeky little ideas like his ‘tree-towel’ collection. Very splendid stuff.
