CLIMATE CRASH

Imaging specialists GMJ have produced a series of ‘postcards’ sent from a not too distant, scary future. They feature a series of images of London suffering the consequences of global warming – flooding, freezing, frying, migration, economic meltdown and the collapse of the fabric of what we consider social norms are all dealt with in a disturbing, but witty way. Didier Madoc-Jones and Rob Graves of Clerkenwell based GMJ drew on their rich property and environmental heritage to produce a series of familiar London landmark images ravaged by extreme climate change. The rock-solid foundations of the National Theatre on the Southbank was the perfect setting for the exhibition.
