JANE BOWN
Jane Bown has worked as a photojournalist for The Observer all her life. Her timeless black and white images have all been shot on analogue Olympus OM2 equipment with a standard lense. No overblown auto-focus or digital downloads here. The work spans several decades and the ‘Looking For Light’ retrospective showing in the Guardian building near King’s Cross beautifully demonstrates the sheer power of her big black and white fibre prints.
